Welcome to The Gathering 2023. We are expectant about what God is going to do this weekend, and we’re so glad that you could join us. More details will be available shortly.
Lot 4 – Lebanon: Help Christelle reach the Arabic-speaking world
Christelle is the national prayer coordinator in Lebanon. She is looking to build a team of people who share the vision of a spiritual revival that would start in Beirut, spread to the rest of her country then to the Middle East.
The team would start by translating and developing content, which will serve the Arabic speaking world by helping individuals, organisations and churches pray.
The funds will help the team hire professional translators, promote the content on social platforms, create prayer rooms, bless volunteers with financial gifts, and support any creative projects that will serve the Vision.
Lot 4 – Lebanon: Help Christelle reach the Arabic-speaking world
From Sally Harman and Proximity Church in Essex – ‘Sending Love’.
This blanket was made by Emma Miles, an OMS member. She says “The Poiema Blanket: Colours represent the beautiful diversity of 24-7 Prayer and the kingdom of God – drawn from different nations, cultures, languages and streams of the Church, all joined together by interlinked circles representing both our love for Jesus and His Spirit in us. Together creating a masterpiece of His making – Poiema.”
How it works
The tradition of The Gathering Fundraiser goes back further than we care to remember, and is unlike anything you will have experienced before.
The best way to sum it up in one word is OUTRAGEOUS.
It is an opportunity for outrageous giving to some highly worthy causes connected with 24-7 Prayer.
This year, our in-person fundraiser is back, so whether this is your first 24-7 Prayer Fundraiser or if it’s the reason you’re here, read this guide:
Instructions for Online Fundraisers:

Take a look through all of the items on offer in the fundraiser, and pay particular attention to the causes they are going to support.
Donate towards your chosen causes
Once you’ve chosen your cause, make a donation towards the lot that represents it. Please note: we are not taking pledges this year and all donations will be taken immediately.
Watch the Fundraiser online
Tune in to the live stream of the in-person fundraiser to be part of the fun! Watch in real time as the bidding gets competitive, the fundraiser lots are sold off, and Brian and Keith get more and more ridiculous.
Instructions for In-Person Fundraisers:
The in-person Generosity Fundraiser will operate very much like previous years of in-person fundraisers. Here’s how it will go:
Browse the causes and the fundraiser lots
Take a look through all of the items on offer in the fundraiser, and pay particular attention to the causes they are going to support.
Make your bids
As Brian and Keith announce each lot, you’ll have a chance to bid towards the items. Each donation will go towards the cause we are supporting, and the highest donation will win the item. Feel free to club together with friends or family to donate the biggest possible amount!
Frequently Asked Questions
How much can I bid?
We want everyone to be involved, but please only donate what you can afford to give. We’re encouraging outrageous generosity, but if you give £1 or £1000, you are still a star in our eyes.
Can I donate towards more than one item?
Of course! Donate towards as many items as many times as you like but, as hard as it may be, try not to get too carried away!
Where does my money go?
Each lot will support a different cause, and all causes are listed on the website. ALL the money received from the donations will go to that cause.
