24-7 Prayer Wales are currently embarking on the 7 cities prayer pilgrimage. We have already done 3 south cities and head to the north and west cities next year.
The stories coming from the south cities are amazing. We had 10 people saved on the streets in Cardiff, 9 in Swansea and 24 in Newport. All are now located in local churches and are starting alpha courses. Newport is a city where unity has been hard amongst leaders. In the Newport meetings we had a ‘God moment’ of reconciliation and 22 Newport leaders from the ecumenical church across the city met for the first time – off the back of these moments from the pilgrimage.
We have had 6 schools already sign up (2 from each city) to commit to running PSIS from spring term.
The Swansea evening prayer event and stone unveiling gathered nearly 300 people. This is the largest ecumenical gathering in Swansea since 2011 as noted by pastors across the city, it was such a unity moment. The prayer stone has already had many visitors sending pictures of heading there to pray over the city and being encouraged by the prayer prompts in each.
Off the back of the Cardiff date – 22 young people have committed to pray for their city once a month for next and set up a prayer space for their generation.
We have had 13 churches across the cities want a prayer space set up ready for January.
We cannot believe the way in which God has used these moments of preparation and the pilgrimage to bear such fruit in prayer, mission, and justice.
So the ask is as follows….
We have budgeted for the next 4 cities but believe that there are other key places in Wales God is putting on our hearts to go in Wales after the 7 cities are completed.
These are:
Aberystwyth
Newtown
Carmarthen
Builth wells
The 7 cities are in parts of Wales that leave out huge segments of the nation geographically – and so we really believe this is key for the ongoing strategy of a nation awakened in prayer, mission, and justice.
I am putting in a Wales specific request for these stones to be bought for the other 4 cities as part of the silent auction.
This would amount to:
£4k for the stones
Or a bigger ask would be
£7k
To cover all costs of the pilgrimage for the other 4 dates.

The tradition of The Gathering Auction goes back further than we care to remember, and is unlike anything you will have experienced before.
The best way to sum it up in one word is OUTRAGEOUS.
It is an opportunity for outrageous giving to some highly worthy causes connected with 24-7 Prayer.

How much can I bid?
We want everyone to be involved, but please only donate what you can afford to give. We’re encouraging outrageous generosity, but if you give £1 or £1000, you are still a star in our eyes.
Can I donate towards more than one item?
Of course! Donate towards as many items as many times as you like but, as hard as it may be, try not to get too carried away!
Where does my money go?
Each lot will support a different cause, and all causes are listed on the website. ALL the money received from the donations will go to that cause.
