Pastor Lorenzo Rosales Fajardo spent three and a half years in a maximum security prison in Cuba following his violent detention during peaceful demonstrations on 11 July 2021.
Prior to his imprisonment, he had a documented history of harassment and threats at the hands of Cuban security agencies, due to his leadership of an independent church and his refusal to stop providing spiritual support to the families of political prisoners.
After he was detained, his wife, Maridilegnis, was fired from her job, leaving the family with no income. The couple has two children, David, who is now twenty one years old and married, and Lorena, who is sixteen. While in prison, Pastor Lorenzo ministered to those around him, and now that he has been released, he has resumed is work as a pastor. He remains under close surveillance and his ability to move freely is limited. This gift will help to support this family over the next year. Anything raised in excess will be distributed to religious leaders in need via Pastor Enrique Fundora’s “More than Words” network.
Target amount: $2760 will support the family for 12 months.

We want everyone to be involved, but please only donate what you can afford to give. We’re encouraging outrageous generosity, but if you give £1 or £1000, you are still a star in our eyes.
Can I donate towards more than one item?
Of course! Donate towards as many items as many times as you like but, as hard as it may be, try not to get too carried away!
Where does my money go?
Each lot will support a different cause, and all causes are listed on the website. ALL the money received from the donations will go to that cause.
