Lighthouse team is supporting struggling and desperate individuals whose financial circumstances are chaotic, and debt has become unmanageable. We regularly find ourselves alongside those on the edge of suicide due to the despair and overwhelm of the debt burden. For example:
Lisa* was fleeing an abusive marriage and domestic violence, and was also shackled by her husband’s debts that he had put in her name and had no way of getting on her own feet. The team was able to assist her in obtaining a debt relief order allowing her a fresh start with her children.
Fahima*, a single mother raising three children who all have complex health and neurodiverse needs, was unable to work due to her own serious health issues, and struggling to pay her utility bills, with bailiffs knocking at the door. She reached out to the Lighthouse team who were able to intervene and keep the creditors at bay, resolving her debts with an affordable repayment plan, helping her with future budgeting, and accessing her full benefits entitlement.
Since starting in 2020, The Lighthouse debt support team has already seen hundreds of thousands of pounds of unaffordable debt cancelled, bringing life-transforming debt relief to the lives of those on the margins. Each month the team continues to deal with around £15,000 of unaffordable debt.
In the light of the worsening financial crisis, funds given towards this project will enable us to reach even more individuals who are experiencing hopelessness because of the financial pressures they are facing.

It is an opportunity for outrageous giving to some highly worthy causes connected with 24-7 Prayer.

As Brian and Keith announce each lot, you’ll have a chance to bid towards the items. Each donation will go towards the cause we are supporting, and the highest donation will win the item. Feel free to club together with friends or family to donate the biggest possible amount!

How much can I bid?
We want everyone to be involved, but please only donate what you can afford to give. We’re encouraging outrageous generosity, but if you give £1 or £1000, you are still a star in our eyes.
Can I donate towards more than one item?
Of course! Donate towards as many items as many times as you like but, as hard as it may be, try not to get too carried away!
Where does my money go?
Each lot will support a different cause, and all causes are listed on the website. ALL the money received from the donations will go to that cause.
