One of the most urgent fundraising needs we have is the job of our co-worker and friend Anne, who is the world’s best social worker 😊 Anne has spent the last three years building and leading a female empowerment group called Trumpf. She just finished a wonderful female empowerment project in our neighborhood, and her job funding ends this year. So far we haven’t been able to fund a new role for her, so any financial help would go into holding her job in the first months of 2026, which gives her time to plan a new project and apply for funds.
With the financial support, Anne would be able to:

Remain employed at the charity polylux e.V. without having to register as unemployed or look for another job 😊

Continue working as part of the leadership team (which she is also a vital part of)

Develop a new project — likely aimed again at women from Datzeberg — by creating a concept and conducting fundraising for it. The new project doesn’t exist yet, but working with women from our neighborhood is something Anne carries on her heart.
In other words, this support would enable her to make a smooth transition to a new project that will empower multiply disadvantaged women in our neighborhood.

The tradition of The Gathering Auction goes back further than we care to remember, and is unlike anything you will have experienced before.
The best way to sum it up in one word is OUTRAGEOUS.
It is an opportunity for outrageous giving to some highly worthy causes connected with 24-7 Prayer.

As Brian and Keith announce each lot, you’ll have a chance to bid towards the items. Each donation will go towards the cause we are supporting, and the highest donation will win the item. Feel free to club together with friends or family to donate the biggest possible amount!

How much can I bid?
We want everyone to be involved, but please only donate what you can afford to give. We’re encouraging outrageous generosity, but if you give £1 or £1000, you are still a star in our eyes.
Can I donate towards more than one item?
Of course! Donate towards as many items as many times as you like but, as hard as it may be, try not to get too carried away!
Where does my money go?
Each lot will support a different cause, and all causes are listed on the website. ALL the money received from the donations will go to that cause.
