Welcome to The Gathering 2023. We are expectant about what God is going to do this weekend, and we’re so glad that you could join us. More details will be available shortly.
As part of an exciting new partnership with the Lucan Centre in Dublin, 24-7 Prayer Ireland have been invited to establish a contemporary monastic community located at the heart of a retreat centre.
The centre will become a house of prayer and retreat, spiritual formation and renewal. It will also function as a training space for prayer, mission and justice open to all. The centre has so much potential and the funds would really help us to develop places of prayer (including the purchase and refurb of a dedicated prayer room: photographed), and to develop other indoor and outdoor spaces for reflection and hospitality throughout the site, setting us up to practically serve and resource the Church throughout Ireland.
Lot 7 – Ireland: Dublin Lucan Centre
This throw was made with love in Ibiza, sewn out of 24-7 Prayer t-shirts.
This throw was made by the 24-7 Scotland team. In Scotland we may not be large in numbers or have a large political voice but we are powerful in faith.
On this map each fire represents a registered prayer room since the beginning of 24-7 Prayer in Scotland in 2009 until 2022. These are only the registered prayer rooms and so we know there have been many many more. There are 57 prayer rooms represented on this map.
For years there have been multiple prophetic words about fire coming from the north of Scotland and into the nations. May it be in our time.
How it works
The tradition of The Gathering Fundraiser goes back further than we care to remember, and is unlike anything you will have experienced before.
The best way to sum it up in one word is OUTRAGEOUS.
It is an opportunity for outrageous giving to some highly worthy causes connected with 24-7 Prayer.
This year, our in-person fundraiser is back, so whether this is your first 24-7 Prayer Fundraiser or if it’s the reason you’re here, read this guide:
Instructions for Online Fundraisers:

Take a look through all of the items on offer in the fundraiser, and pay particular attention to the causes they are going to support.
Donate towards your chosen causes
Once you’ve chosen your cause, make a donation towards the lot that represents it. Please note: we are not taking pledges this year and all donations will be taken immediately.
Watch the Fundraiser online
Tune in to the live stream of the in-person fundraiser to be part of the fun! Watch in real time as the bidding gets competitive, the fundraiser lots are sold off, and Brian and Keith get more and more ridiculous.
Instructions for In-Person Fundraisers:
The in-person Generosity Fundraiser will operate very much like previous years of in-person fundraisers. Here’s how it will go:
Browse the causes and the fundraiser lots
Take a look through all of the items on offer in the fundraiser, and pay particular attention to the causes they are going to support.
Make your bids
As Brian and Keith announce each lot, you’ll have a chance to bid towards the items. Each donation will go towards the cause we are supporting, and the highest donation will win the item. Feel free to club together with friends or family to donate the biggest possible amount!
Frequently Asked Questions
How much can I bid?
We want everyone to be involved, but please only donate what you can afford to give. We’re encouraging outrageous generosity, but if you give £1 or £1000, you are still a star in our eyes.
Can I donate towards more than one item?
Of course! Donate towards as many items as many times as you like but, as hard as it may be, try not to get too carried away!
Where does my money go?
Each lot will support a different cause, and all causes are listed on the website. ALL the money received from the donations will go to that cause.
